Watchdog

Sentinel Plus is designed to run with all its critical functions constantly monitored by a process called Watchdog, which runs on the Supervisor screen. In the event of a problem, Watchdog produces an audible and visible alert. If there is no response to the alert within a reasonable time, all Operators are notified of the unacknowledged Watchdog alert. Watchdog monitors all alarm signalling, report creation and database conditions. A simple display provides information about the current status of all critical processes on the system.
